With the federal tax credit for first-time home buyers set to expire December 1, 2009, now is the time to take action to tell your Congressperson and your Senators to extend and expand the Homebuyer Tax Credit.
According to NAR, the tax credit has brought approximately 1.2 million new buyers into the market nationwide since its inception. And according to a CAR survey, nearly 40 percent of California first-time home buyers reported they would not have purchased a home without the tax credit. |
